We were commissioned by The Dulwich Estates to come up with a new signage scheme for one of their developments in Dulwich. The specification was to be modern signage but using a font from the 1960s which would be representative of the age of the development.
After initial meetings with the surveyors and their discussions with the Residents Association, the design and colours were agreed.
We manufactured powder coated aluminium tray signs with rear back trays and flush fitted aluminium letters – we even added an aluminium bullnose frame to the finished signs to ggive them a bit more detail.
Then came the task of removing all the old signage in readiness for the new ones – 1 tonne of rubble later we were ready for the install!
As you can see the finished result is very impressive and everyone is pleased with the new “modern” retro signage.
