Everyone knows that first impressions count and that’s especially true with pubs. We all know that choosing whether or not to go into a pub depends on how the exterior looks, signs, decoration, lighting, planting, etc.

With over 40 years of experience in the pub signage industry, we are well placed to offer you advice as to what changes you can make to improve the image of you pub, which hopefully will be reflected in an increase in trade!

We can help with the whole exterior look: decorating, planting, lighting and of course the signs. We can coordinate the whole look for you. Just give us a call or email with an initial enquiry and we take it from there.

Alternatively, we can work closely with your own designers, to produce the right image, just for you.
Being traditional signwriters, we can produce typical gold leaf pub signage, right through to something more contemporary, such as stainless steel lettering.

About Us

Butler Associates was set up in the swinging 60s as a “one man band” signwriting company producing traditional hand painted signs all over London, Surrey, Kent and Essex.

We expanded our range of services in the 70s and 80s and moved into a new factory in West Norwood, London.

Specialising in traditional hand crafted signs, we have over 40 years of experience of producing all types of bespoke signage. Now producing the finest contemporary and traditional signage from our Croydon studio.
