Butler Associates was set up in the swinging 60s as a “one man band” signwriting company producing traditional hand painted signs all over London, Surrey, Kent and Essex.

We expanded our range of services in the 70s and 80s and moved into a new factory in West Norwood, London.

We continued to trade from West Norwood for 25 years developing our expertise in the Brewery and Leisure industry, creating bespoke signage for our discerning clients. After 25 years in West Norwood, we have now moved to our current address in Shirley, Croydon and have developed into Butler dSigns.

We still specialise in traditional signwriting by hand, gold leaf, refurbishment and restoration work, but can produce any type of sign from stainless steel built up letters to digital printing.
